Raymond Pereyda
Raymond started Running track in 6th grade because it was, and still is fun. He first competed in a Hershey’s where he competed in the 400, 800, and Softball throw. He competed for Gilbert Junior High in the 100, 800, 4x100, and 4x400. He is now a 3 year Varsity athlete at Gilbert High School, where he is a team captain. He currently participates in the 400, 800 and both long relays. Raymond claims that running makes him forget about everything, and enjoys pushing himself to the max mentally and physically.

-4th in the 400m run at the Hershey’s meet

-Member of the 9th place 4x400 relay team at the Chandler Rotary
-Member of the 6th place 4x400 relay team at Glendale Invite
-6th in the 400m at the Gilbert City Meet Varsity level
-Member of the 7th place 4x400 relay team at 5a DI Arizona State Championship
2008
-Member of the 2nd place 4x400 relay team at the Desert Classic
-Member of the 8th place 4x400 relay team at the Sun Angel Classic
-Member of the 4th place 4x4 varsity relay team at Gilbert/Higley/Queen Creek City
-Member of the 3rd place 4x400 relay team at the Fiesta region meet
-Member of the 13th place 4x400 relay team at 5a DI Arizona State Championship
